Grace.
Grace is a coming of age story, touching on issues such as sexual repression, restrictions in religion and shame around female sexuality. It is based around a young girl from a strict catholic family in 1960s England who, as she transitions from a girl to a woman, develops a strong attraction to her teacher, Mr Forbs. She battles with her ‘sinful’ thought and experiences shame and embarrassment around the bodily changes that we see her go through.
