Situated in London and Kent, the University of Greenwich stands as a distinguished public institution. As an alumna, Jodi feels privileged to serve as their primary photographer and videographer following her graduation. During this time, she has had the pleasure of documenting numerous events, including welcome weeks, Varsity sports competitions, awards ceremonies, graduations, and more.
Welcome Weeks.
Jodi has filmed the University of Greenwich's Welcome Week activities since 2022. This fun-filled week offers new students a chance to explore the campus, make friends, meet classmates and faculty, and understand academic expectations, as well as explore new opportunities with the university’s societies and sports teams. She curates a dynamic short video that captures the essence of this exciting week, which the university shares with students and uses as promotional material for the following year.
Multi-Cultural Events.
Global Greenwich is a dedicated body within the University of Greenwich that ensures international students are well-represented across the university. Their mission, "Representing You," focuses on advocating for students' academic interests to ensure they receive a high-quality, inclusive education. Described as "The heart of Greenwich's international community," Global Greenwich provides information, support, cultural events, and opportunities to make new friends. Jodi has filmed and photographed several of their vibrant events over the years, including multicultural fashion shows where students showcase traditional clothing, Diwali, IFTAR, Bollywood nights, and more.
Sports.
The University of Greenwich takes great pride in its diverse array of sports clubs, regularly showcasing them through various events and collaborations with other universities. One of the highlights is Varsity, an annual sporting competition between neighbouring universities. These matches are highly competitive and eagerly anticipated by students, alumni, and fans alike. Since 2022, Jodi has photographed and filmed Varsity, capturing the excitement and spirit of the university's athletic community.
